GMC Stadium Multi-Purposing Project. TIMELINE: Calgary Municipal Land Corporation (CMLC), on behalf of the Calgary Stampede, is currently seeking proposals from consultants services to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study for future stadium opportunities within Stampede Park and Calgary's Culture + Entertainment District. The study will evaluate the retrofit of the existing GMC Stadium main Grandstand to accommodate CFL football and other field sports and entertainment uses, as well as the development of a new multi-purpose infield stadium integrated within the current site. Final deliverables are expected in the second quarter of 2027.
