Amendment 0001 updates Attachment 1 - Site Visit Information. The work involves developing bridging documents that include conceptual design, technical specifications, and performance criteria for the complete repair of seventeen electric elevators (12 passenger and 5 freight) identified in the 2024 Elevator Assessment. This includes replacing obsolete or end-of-life components, performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system upgrades, asbestos-containing material abatement, PCB removal, and making necessary structural and architectural alterations to bring existing machine rooms and hoistways into code compliance. New elevator controllers must be integrated with the existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The bridging documents must provide sufficient detail to support a future design-build construction solicitation for full elevator modernization. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, minimize disruption to building operations, and meet targeted energy efficiency and sustainability goals. Period of Performance/Delivery The Period of Performance for this contract includes an 8-month base year and no options. The anticipated period of performance is 230 days after notice to proceed.
