Site work and paving for a road / highway in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and road / highway.
The work is located within the community of Elmsdale in the Municipality of East Hants. Work under this Contract consists of the following: Milling and removal of existing asphalt, installation and compaction of speed tables, surveying points as per HRM Detail 143 & 144 (January 2023 edition), ensuring consistency with previously installed speed tables in the same area, painting of Sharks Teeth on all approaches, and installation of sign posts at locations identified by East Hants. Installation of signposts and associated pavement markings as shown on the attached drawing marked All Way stop configuration' is required. All miscellaneous work and incidentals associated with these items are included. The work includes all traffic control and detours as per the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (NSTIR) Temporary Workplace Traffic Control Manual. Reinstatement of all disturbed areas to pre-construction condition or better is required. Submissions must be uploaded electronically as specified in the competition documents. All work must follow the requirements for Building and Construction and Maintenance Services, with a focus on general building construction, infrastructure construction, and highway and road sign or guardrail construction and repair service.
