Cu 2026 Asphalt Patching Package 4 - Local & Collector Streets Contract/Resolution Number 113-3-17-26-4 The Funding Source for This Project is Water, Sewer, Stormwater Utility Revenue. The purpose of this project is to restore asphalt pavement in the city where City Utilities has excavated the pavement to perform maintenance or repair on City Utilities infrastructure. The locations of these asphalt restorations are distributed throughout the city, and the asphalt patching locations and quantities exhibit included in this Contract lists the locations and construction quantities estimated to be required at each location. Other miscellaneous restoration such as sidewalks, curbs, and lawn restoration will be required at some of the locations. The Contractor Shall Furnish All Labor, Insurance, Equipment, Materials and Power for the Complete Performance of the Following Project, Cu 2026 Asphalt Patching Package 4 - Local & Collector Streets as Follows: Asphalt Pavement Patching on Various Local and Collector Streets Throughout the City. All in Accordance With the Bidding Documents as Prepared by City Utilities Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana No Bid Will Be Accepted From, or Contract Awarded to Any Person, Firm, or Corporation That is in Arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Upon Any Debt or Contract, or, Who Has Failed to Execute, in Whole or in Part in a Satisfactory Manner, Any Contract With the City; or, Who is a Defaulter as to Surety or Otherwise, Upon Any Obligation to the City, or is Engaged in Litigation With the City. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for at Least 60 Days After the Scheduled Time for Receipt of Bids So as to Allow Review of Bids Before Announcing Award of Contract. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond Each in the Amount No Less Than One Hundred (100%) Percent of the Contract Price. The City has established a 10% participation goal for emerging business participation on all construction projects. The Board Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids for Failure to Comply With Applicable Laws and/or With the Instructions to Bidders. The Board Also Reserves the Right to Waive Any Defect in Any Bid.
