Reference Number 0000427422 The City of Oceanside (City) is currently in the construction bidding and procurement process for the Oceanside Blvd. 10" Recycled Water Main Pressure Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Rehabilitation construction contract. This project is a pipeline rehabilitation of an aging 10" recycled water pipe, to prepare it for increased system pressures when the new Fire Mountain Recycled Water Reservoir comes online in Fall of 2026. This project will affect a busy arterial street and require well designed traffic control and coordination with the State DDW and affected customers who will be without recycled water for the duration of the lining work. Plans and specifications for the Oceanside Blvd. 10" Recycled Water Main Pressure CIPP Rehabilitation project were prepared by Water Works Engineers. Major items of work required to manage and construct the Oceanside Blvd. 10" Recycled Water Main Pressure CIPP Rehabilitation include: Rehabilitation of approximately 7,000 LF of existing AC and DIP recycled watermain in the ROW, via pressure CIPP lining. Traffic Control Coordinating installation of swivel ell connection and switch to potable water for the Goat Hill Golf Course during the recycled watermain outage Hand watering of the Dunkin' Donuts landscaping (by the Contractor) during the recycled watermain outage Replacement of surface and landscape improvements, including hardscape, concrete sidewalk panels, curb and gutter, etc. AC and concrete paving Public Outreach Labor compliance Environmental, cultural, archaeological monitoring Commensurate with the City's request for bids from Contractors, the City is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management and Inspection services, as well as public outreach, for construction of the Oceanside Blvd. 10" Recycled Water Main Pressure CIPP Rehabilitation project.
