Refinishing of district stage floors. Question Submission Deadline:June 16, 2026, 2:00pm, Question submitted Electronically Description of Work: CPS District Stage Floor Refinishing Cambridge Public Schools is looking to repair/refinish 6 stage floors throughout the school district. The following are the schools CPS is looking to refinish the stage floors; o Amigos School, 15 Upton Street - (34'-10"wide x 23'deep) o Baldwin School, 85 Oxford Street - (53'wide x 25deep) o Cambridge Port School, 89 Elm Street - (25'wide x 6deep) o Fletcher Maynard Academy (FMA), 225 Windsor Street - (33'wide x 22deep) o Graham & Parks, 44 Linnaean Street, and - (55'wide x 25deep) o Peabody School, 70 Rindge Avenue - (40'wide x 25deep) This project must occur during the summer vacation (June 29 th - August 21 st ). Site logistics: o Most schools have parking available. Only two schools there's no on-site parking (street parking only) o No use of school restrooms, CPS will designate restroom to be used Scope of work: o Seal all doorways with plastic to control dust from drifting to hallways & classrooms o Remove existing abandoned stage light boxes covers at the following schools and infill, match floor pattern and wood spices of existing floor; o Fletcher Maynard Academy (10"W by 4'L) see pictures attached o Amigos School (6 boxes 8"W by 5' L) see pictures attached o Peabody School (4 boxes 17"W by 11'L) see pictures attached o Sand stage floors down to bare wood and finish with 2 coat of clear finish (minimum) o The stage @ the Cambridge Port is a black painted surface. Pricing should be for repainting it black again o Stage at the Baldwin School the edge board needs to be refasten o Amigos has 2 set of steps at the back of the stage, screen and recoat only these steps o All debris to be removed from site daily, no use of CPS dumpster
