Site work for a water / sewer project in Maynardville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the replacement of approximately 3,400 residential meters, installation of 6 zone meters, and installation of an AMR system. The allotment for construction time is 270 calendar days. Instructions to bidders include requirements that all bidders be licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with state regulations, and compliance with the Tennessee Contractor's License law Section 62-6-119. Bidders must comply with all applicable IIJA mandated Davis-Bacon, American Iron and Steel, and Build America Buy America requirements. Bidders are required to comply with the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loan Program's Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) requirements, which include contacting a minimum of 10 qualified DBE sub-contractors, professional service providers, vendors, and/or suppliers by certified mail to solicit bids. The apparent successful bidder must submit copies of the certified letters and return receipts to the owner prior to contract award. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
