The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is seeking proposals from contractors to install signage and striping through the Clearfork branch of the Trinity River in Fort Worth. Proposers shall propose installation for the signage and striping project, as laid out in the construction documents provided by TRWD and prepared by Kimley Horn, to install centerline, edge, other striping and rumble strips, as well as determined AASHTO safety signs according to the plans. Location- The Clearfork Fork section of the Trinity Trails extends from HW 183 on the west and heading east to where the Clearfork branch meets the Westfork Branch. Estimated timeline: Monday, August 3, 2026 - Monday, November 30, 2026. Question Deadline date added in Description as per Addendum 4 Date - 08/18/2026 at 5:00 PM CT The trail section along the west bank within Trinity Park, between the W 7th Street bridge and the 130 bridge, should be prepared as a separate phase. TRWD will provide all weld plates, signposts which will have sign backers and water drop toppers pre-welded to posts, as well as the AASHTO safety signs. Contractor will be responsible for the labor to attach the provided signs to the provided powder coated signposts/backers, provide labor and materials for pouring footers for each signpost using the provided weld plates, attach the signposts to the footers, provide materials and labor for all trail striping needs, and provide all labor and materials for rumble strips. Contractor responsible for providing a comprehensive safety plan for trail closures and reroutes for the duration of construction to protect trail users.
