The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from certified licensed roofers who self-perform for the rehabilitation of one home located in Delaware County. Work is to be completed according to the work write-up, and the job must be finished within 15 working days. Work should begin within two weeks of notification or the contractor will be charged $100.00 for each working day over the contract end date. To be considered, bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up. Preference is given to bidders who are TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office, with proof of certification required. Successful bidders must comply with all Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO requirements. A purchase order will be issued to the responsible Contractor providing the lowest, most responsive bid per the HACN Procurement Policy, pending availability of funds. Bids may be submitted by Indian and Non-Indian bidders. Indian preference is given with appropriate certification. The successful bidder must complete the TERO Labor Agreement, pay all applicable fees, and submit required paperwork. Davis-Bacon Wage Rate #OK20260005, Modification Number 0, applies to this project. Contractors agree to the terms outlined in the HUD forms HUD-5369, HUD-5369-A, and HUD-5370-EZ. The Buy American provisions apply to iron, steel, and manufactured goods used in the project that are incorporated into the public building or work.
