Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Roseburg, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project is for the Stewart Park Master Plan Update to create a long-term vision for the park, with planning services contracted to MIG. Public outreach was conducted via community surveys starting in late 2025. The City of Roseburg is requesting sealed proposals from qualified persons to provide Professional Planning and Design Services for the Stewart Park Master Plan Update. The selected consultant will evaluate existing park conditions, facilitate community and stakeholder engagement, develop concept alternatives, prepare planning level cost estimates, and produce a comprehensive master plan document to guide future park improvements. This update will replace the 2000 Stewart Park Master Plan and reflect current community needs, recreational trends, and environmental considerations. The City's goal is to create a long range, unified vision that supports youth and families, promotes healthy lifestyles, enhances tourism, improves river access, and strengthens connectivity throughout the Stewart Park and South Umpqua River corridor.
