Implementation of a building automation system (BAS) at Jefferson High School. The Project consists of the implementation of a new Building Automation System (BAS) into existing 1930's historic buildings and later additions. The Work under this Contract may include repair, salvage, alteration, or prefabrication of indicated existing materials for reuse on the Project. 1. Because of the historic significance of structures at the site, Contractor shall take care to respect and preserve the fabric of the existing and surrounding structures. Adequate provisions shall be made by the Contractor to prevent damage to any existing condition, feature, structure, item or finish which is intended to be saved, rebuilt, or refinished. 2. Reuse of existing materials shall comply with the applicable portions of the specifications as for new work. Workmanship for reuse of existing materials, not otherwise specified, shall conform to original workmanship at the time building was constructed as evidenced on similar installations still in place. All questions are to be submitted through the Bonfire portal by 2:00 PM (CST) on Thursday, June 25, 2026. A. The Work is more particularly described in the drawings, specifications, proposal documents and other Contract Documents prepared by FORD, POWELL & CARSON ARCHITECTS. B. There are documents for JEFFERSON HS BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM (BAS) IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT included in this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals. The Offeror must submit one Base Proposal indicating the total proposal amount to construct JEFFERSON HS BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM (BAS) IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT. An individual contract will be written for the project with the aggregate of the contracts equaling the Base Proposal total. C.
