Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is seeking qualified contractors to provide substation ground grid surface restoration, and vegetation abatement services. The selected contractor will be responsible for restoring the surface of ground grids at various substations and performing vegetation abatement to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our electrical infrastructure. This project aims to maintain the integrity of the ground grid systems and prevent any potential hazards caused by overgrown vegetation. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required to perform complete weed abatement and site restoration at the identified facilities. Question Submission Deadline: July 1, 2026, 12:00pm Question Response Deadline: July 8, 2026, 12:00pm The Project must be fully completed within 60 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. Licenses include a General Engineering Contractor (A) license, QEW credentials, and ISN certificate. Liquidated damages of $1200 per day will be assessed for unexcused delay in completion, as further specified in the Contract Documents. Each bidder must submit bid security equal to ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of cash; a cashiers or certified check made payable to Alameda Municipal Power; The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the Contract Price, as further specified in the Contract Documents.
