Reference Number 0000427566 Question Deadline 06/26/2026 at 4:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes Provide and install the following: Wired communication to all 140 VAV boxes Wired thermostat control to those same 140 VAV boxes Expected work to be done: Comm wire from the 5 ZFR locations to the nearby VAVs Provide and install new thermostats Provide conduit/wiremold to keep clean and professional install as needed Reusable parts: Power cabling Database in Metasys Ensure that the units are updated to communicate to the Metasys head end and the units are reflashed for wired communication and thermostats If there are any issues or failures, please notify the Facility group and provide options for repair/replacement. If cutting, drilling, or interruptions are needed to complete the project, schedule with the Facility group. If equipment, furniture, or patients have to be moved or adjusted, contact the facility group to coordinate. Liquidated Damages: $100.00/day Tax Exempt: YES Any bids over $100,000 will require a 100% Payment and Performance Bond to be included with the cost of your bid. Failure to provide this cost information may result in being deemed non-responsive. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University.
