Reference Number 0000426696 Question Acceptance Deadline 06/29/2026 04:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes Douglas County ("Owner" or the "County") is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit commercial and technical proposals ("Proposals") from bidders ("Respondents") for the site contractor to construct a new fence at the DOT Maintenance Complex The time allowed for performance of the project will be 60 consecutive calendar days after the effective date of the contract. Liquidated damages for this contract shall be assessed in the amount of $150 for each day that expires after the Contract Time for substantial completion. The project scope includes the installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of eight-foot fence along Chicago Ave including (2) twenty-foot motorized gate systems for the employee and truck entrance. The new fence will be installed in the same location as the existing fence in front of the DOT Maintenance Complex. Douglas County will be responsible for all demolition of the existing fence, trees and debris. The County will also be responsible for installing power, access control, and Knox Box for both gates.
