Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbus, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As part of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Statewide Canal Improvements, professional survey services are requested on the Ohio and Erie as well as the Miami and Erie canal systems. The objective is to gather complete survey information for various sections of these canal systems, where existing information is incomplete or undeveloped. The selected firm will provide support in various locations on a task-order basis and is expected to coordinate all work with the ODNR Office of Real Estate and Land Management. Anticipated work includes providing basemaps for improvement projects and CAD and/or GIS basemaps and data layers for future engineering design, property investigation including title research and locating historical canal property lines, and updating property mapping to show the locations of properties no longer under ODNR ownership, with mapping designed for use in future agreements, acquisitions, appraisals, and negotiations.
