The project is titled Bus Garage InGround Lift for the State University of New York at Binghamton, project number WO452318. All work on this contract is to be completed within 90 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Prospective bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security is required for each bid in an amount not less than five percent of the Total Bid. A deposit of $49.00 is required to receive the documents, which will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. The solicitation includes restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process as specified by State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k. Failure to adhere to these provisions may result in disqualification. The policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York is to encourage minority business enterprise participation in the project by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
