Site work for a military facility in Menlo Park, California. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.
Construction work to mitigate soil erosion in an area referred to as Sector 30, including removal and replacement of failed pavement, slope, earthwork, and storm drain, and installation of permanent vegetation and erosion control measures. The project involves a hillside approximately 12 to 13 feet tall, sloping from north to south with gradients ranging from about 1:1 to 4:1, adjacent to sediment basin structure 30F-7 flowing into catch basin 30F-11. Existing asphalt concrete pavement at approximately 285.5 feet elevation descends about 13 feet toward the catch basin. Work is to be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, IFC Drawing Package, and Project Specifications, addressing grading, drainage, stabilization, and restoration of site conditions. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
