The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) operates the Campbell Mountain Landfill located at 1765 Reservoir Road, Penticton, BC, and the Okanagan Falls Landfill found at 3751 Allendale Lake Road, Okanagan Falls, BC. The above listed locations accept and stockpile concrete and related inert construction materials. Current stockpile volumes exceed the quantities needed for ongoing landfill construction and operational activities. Most stockpiled materials consist of concrete suitable for crushing and beneficial reuse. Stockpiles may also have asphalt, ceramics, bricks, plaster, cement board, masonry products, and rock materials meeting landfill acceptance requirements. To improve operational utility and maximize beneficial reuse of these materials, the RDOS seeks proposals from qualified contractors to process and crush stockpiled concrete materials into usable aggregate products suitable for landfill construction, road maintenance, drainage improvements, and other landfill operations purposes. The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) invites Proposals from qualified firms with demonstrated expertise in concrete crushing and the processing of inert construction materials.
