Public Works Storage Building A. Notice is hereby given that City of Slayton, Minnesota invites sealed Construction Bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for the Public Works Storage Building, 2250 Linden Street, Slayton, MN according to Construction Documents prepared by s2s Architects. The project consists of construction of a new public works storage building located at 2250 Linden Street, Slayton, Minnesota. Work includes, but is not limited to, building pad preparation, fill/backfill, concrete foundations and floor slabs, wood structural framing, metal panel siding, manufactured stone siding, building insulation, asphalt shingle roofing, hollow metal doors, sectional doors, interior liner panels and associated mechanical, plumbing and electrical work. B. A Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at City of Slayton City Hall, 2424 26th Street, Slayton, MN 56172 at 1.00pm on Monday, June 29, 2026. The Pre-Bid meeting is non-mandatory, however all parties interested in submitting a Bid are encouraged to attend and familiarize themselves with the project. A site visit will be held immediately following the meeting. C. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time and place. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. E. Electronic Bidding Documents for use by contractors in submitting a bid for this project may also be obtained at no cost from the Owner’s Designated Representative identified in Paragraph C. No paper copies shall be made available by the Owner or Architect for this solicitation and the costs incurred for reproduction of the Bidding Documents shall be the responsibility of the Bidder. Bidders wishing to obtain copies of the Bid Documents from other sources including outlets listed above shall be responsible for any subscription or download costs or fees assessed by those outlets. G. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of City of Slayton, Minnesota. H. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid in the form of a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota, certified check, or cashier’s check made payable to City of Slayton, Minnesota.
