Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Century, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility; and fire / police facility.
This work involves the removal and replacement of storefront window systems and accessory components at the Sheriff Operations Building and the New Century Adult Detention Center. All materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any other items necessary to complete the work are included. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically via IonWave at the specified website by the given deadline. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit at the Sheriff Operations Building. Technical questions and requests for clarification must be submitted via IonWave. Bids must include a bid bond from a surety company licensed in Kansas, amounting to five percent of the total bid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days of the bid opening.
