The City of Sunnyvale is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from interested firms in order to establish on-call contracts for the Department of Environmental Services Water Pollution Control Plant for Pump Repair and Overhaul Services, as more fully detailed below. Contractor shall possess a current Class “A” or both Class “D-21 and “C-33” California Contractors License. It is anticipated that multiple on-call contracts will be awarded to the pre-qualified firms for an initial period of two (2) years, with an option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods at the sole discretion of the City. The number of Firms selected will be at the sole discretion of the City and may be augmented, reduced, or terminated at any time. A contract award is not a guarantee of work. When a future project is available the City will provide information about that project and consider the Contractors with on-call contracts awarded, to engage for that opportunity. Projects will be identified based on the Department needs and funding availability. Contractors that are awarded on-call contracts will be considered for work opportunities based upon qualifications relevant to each project. The City will request a cost proposal on a project-by-project basis. If a reasonable fee cannot be achieved with the Contractor of choice, negotiations will proceed with the other qualified On-Call Contractors until a mutual agreement is reached.
