The County of Kern is seeking bids for the engineering, fabrication, testing, and delivery of an ultra-low emissions enclosed ground flare to be used at a California landfill. Completion of the Specification/Scope of Work packet and all Quotation Request documents, including the Vendor Information portion, are required and must be submitted with the bid response. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure responses are submitted by the specified deadline. Responses may be submitted online through Public Purchase.com or delivered as sealed bids to Kern County Purchasing. All bids must include the completed Scope of Work-Comply/Exception pages and the Quotation Request form. Faxed or direct emailed responses are not allowed. If any information on the Scope of Work page is not agreed to, it must be stated, and the page should not be signed. Signing or initialing the Scope of Work page indicates full agreement and compliance. Delivery of the fabricated flare system is to be made to the Bena Landfill in Bakersfield, CA. Delivery does not include installation, which will be handled separately. The vendor is required to demonstrate the functions of the equipment upon delivery to ensure proper use and operation.
