Bidders are expected to examine all instructions and specifications. Bids must be received on or before the specified closing time and must be signed and submitted on the forms furnished, clearly marked as "Elevator Maintenance Bid." Bidders are responsible for timely submission to the proper location. Delays will not be considered. Any bid may be withdrawn by written notice before the closing time but not after. A certificate of insurance naming Saginaw Township Community Schools as additional insured and proof of Worker's Compensation coverage must be on file before any work is performed. Bidders must complete and include the Familial Disclosure Affidavit and the Iran Linked Business Affidavit with their bid. No extra consideration will be allowed for errors or oversights by bidders. The work is as outlined in the Instructions, General Specifications, and Bid Proposal Forms. Interpretations or clarifications will be provided in writing if requested with adequate notice. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and may waive irregularities or defects. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive bidder that meets the specified requirements. Bidders must substantiate a record of good performance and service and provide references from similar accounts. Field technicians must wear uniforms and ID badges, sign in at the Main Office, and comply with all requirements. The bidder is responsible for any damage, required permits, and scheduling with the District.
