This project offers an opportunity to provide planning, evaluation, and design services for a modern, enterprise-scale communications system serving multiple wastewater treatment facilities, a headquarters campus, and seven remote pump stations while supporting critical operations and emergency response functions. The work will include expansion of PA system coverage throughout Plant 1 and Plant 2, replacement of aging and obsolete PA system components, integration of existing PA systems into a unified, modern Ethernet/IP-based platform, leveraging and expanding recently upgraded Biamp system controllers, evaluation and implementation of communications solutions for seven coastal pump stations, integration with emergency communications and mass notification systems, and assessment of existing network and fiber infrastructure to develop recommendations for future growth. Interested firms should have experience in public address and mass notification systems, industrial and municipal communications infrastructure, large campus or utility-wide communications systems, networked audio systems, and fiber optic and Ethernet/IP network design, particularly in water/wastewater or similar large facilities.
