Renovation of a municipal facility in Mamaroneck, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work consists of the installation of high-security window screens on the existing exterior window frames serving the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department building. The facility serves as an active municipal law enforcement headquarters. The windows in need of coverage are located on the front side of the building and remain in plain view. The work requires: field-verification of structural window casings and anchoring substrates, safe transport and delivery of pre-finished assemblies, secure structural exterior mounting of nine (9) white aluminum casings with high-tensile black stainless steel mesh screens, installation of internal metal locking latches to facilitate emergency egress functionality, and cleanup of all construction debris. Care shall be taken to protect the existing window glass, brick facade, and all other facility items within the work area. The Contractor shall abide by all work as proposed through the Town of Mamaroneck Engineering Department.
