This project involves the replacement of two (2) existing steel hydropneumatic tanks at two (2) booster station site numbers 05505 and 06730 and rehabilitate one (1) steel hydropneumatic tank at one booster station site number 06504. The scope of work includes rehabilitating one existing hydropneumatic tank and replacing of two existing hydropneumatic tanks and appurtenances, application of protective coatings to interior surfaces and paints to exterior surfaces of each tank, including surface preparation, handling of hazardous and non-hazardous material/wastes, installation of new tanks and re-installation of appurtenances, new wharf fire hydrants, piping, and disinfection of interior surfaces. The interior of the hydropneumatic tanks shall be washed down and disinfected in accordance with Specifications-Section TC 33 13 13. The abrasive blast clean is required for all interior and exterior surfaces of the hydropneumatic tanks. The hydropneumatic tank for booster station number 06504 is in a low-profile building. Contractor shall be responsible for all additional ventilation/filtration during the blasting, coating, and painting operations.
