Demolition, site work and new construction of a communication facility in Perry, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 80-square-foot communication facility; for the construction of a communication facility; and for site work for a communication facility.
The National Weather Service NOAA Weather Radio location in Perry, FL requires a building that is not permanently set (not real property), constructed of metal siding and metal roof or similar fiberglass structure, to house a VHF 1000 watt transmitter with electrical. This is to replace a shelter that needs to be removed prior to installation. The building shall be approximately 8 feet wide by 10 feet in length but not exceed 9.5 feet by 11.5 feet, and shall have 8 foot ceilings at a minimum. Quotes will be evaluated based on price and the factors set forth in this section using Best Value Trade-Off procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency.
