Renovation of a municipal facility in Beaver, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work includes the in-kind replacement of two existing standby power generators and five existing automatic transfer switches. Work includes installation of a new concrete generator foundation, extension of or connection to existing wiring and conduits, installation of generator exhaust and fuel tanks, removal and disposal of existing equipment, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for the construction. An alternate bid will be considered for the in-kind replacement of the uninterruptible power supply in the IT department and to supply replacement conductors. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act for contracts exceeding $25,000, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders are required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
