Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Cider Mill Drainage Improvement Project Contractor shall comply with all mandated Guidelines specified in these specifications. Contractor shall also comply with Equal Opportunity Employment Practices, and Safety and Health Regulations. Bid security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid and shall be in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond. A Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount (100%) of the contract is required and shall be required upon award of contract. Oral, telephone and telegraphic responses will NOT be considered. A bidder may not withdraw a proposal within ninety (90) days of the proposal opening. The Town reserves the right to reject any, or any part of or all proposals for any reason; to waive informalities and technicalities; and to accept the proposal which the Town deems to be in its best interest, whether or not it is the lowest cost proposal. The Town reserves the right to review the proposals and reject all proposals or take no action or elect not to select any proposal. The Town also reserves the right to cancel the RFP at any time and to reissue this or a substitute RFP at a later date. In its sole discretion and without prejudice, the Town will award a contract to the bidder that it feels is best suited to complete the scope of services. The RFP does not constitute a contract or offer of employment. Each bidder shall submit three (3) copies, and one electronic version, on a flash drive, in Microsoft WORD or PDF format of the proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, and addressed to: Wilton Town Hall, First Selectman's Office, 238 Danbury Road, Wilton, Connecticut 06897, Attention: Jeff Pardo, Director of Public Works (the "Proposal Deadline"). Envelopes shall be plainly marked on the outside as "Cider Mill Drainage Improvement Project". Printed on the outside of the envelope shall be the bidder's name and address. A bidder may not withdraw a proposal within ninety (90) days of the proposal opening. Proposals received after the Proposal Deadline will not be opened or considered. Forty-Five (45) calendar days will be allowed for completion of the work on this Contract after which a liquidated damages charge will apply in the amount of One-Thousand, Five-Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per calendar day. All technical inquiries regarding this RFP will be answered up to the close of business on June 24, 2026 after which time no additional questions will be accepted.
