24/7 services for operations and custodial services for moveable lift bridges owned by the State of Michigan, Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Instructions to bidders include: - Read all request for proposal materials, especially the Proposal Instructions and Vendor Questions Worksheet. - Follow the Proposal Instructions and respond completely to the items listed in the RFP Structure and Documentation table. - Provide all requested information directly in your proposal; do not use references or links to external sources. - Include your company name in the header of all submitted documents. - All documents submitted become public records immediately upon receipt by the State. - Proposals may be posted on the State’s public website after bidders are notified of the award recommendation. - The proposal must be submitted electronically through the specified platform by the deadline. Do not remove bidder boxes or reformat the documents with your own layout or letterhead. - Submit the pricing proposal as a separate file from the rest of the proposal, in a modifiable (native) format such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, or Sheets. PDF versions may also be included. - Ensure your proposal is complete and submitted on time; late submissions are not accepted. - The State will evaluate each proposal on a pass/fail basis for required completed forms and agreement with contract terms. - Questions about the RFP must be emailed to the Solicitation Manager by the stated deadline. - Do not contact any other State employee regarding the RFP, or risk disqualification. - If proposing changes to the contract terms or schedules, submit them using tracked changes and include a clear explanation for each proposed change.
