Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove and replace a damaged section of a 12-inch ductile iron water main on G Road by excavating to expose the existing pipe, removing and disposing of the failed segment and temporary repair clamp, and installing up to 20 linear feet of new 12-inch ductile iron pipe in accordance with AWWA C600 standards. Work includes performing a government-witnessed hydrostatic pressure and leak test with zero leakage maintained for a minimum of two hours, followed by backfilling, soil compaction, and full restoration of disturbed areas to original condition, including topsoil placement and establishment of healthy grass. Any required water main shutdowns must be scheduled during non-peak hours. Contractor must also prepare required submittals such as a Project Narrative, Quality Control Plan, and Site-Specific Safety Plan, demonstrate relevant experience in municipal water main replacement, and comply with all installation access, security requirements, and subcontracting limitations.
