Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Manti, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Manti City is seeking bids from contractors to construct a culinary water treatment plant utilizing membrane filtration equipment manufactured by WesTech Inc. The plant will have a design capacity of 2,400 gpm at full buildout and will be located in the southeast quadrant of Manti, adjacent to the City’s culinary water storage tank. It will serve Manti by filtering its spring water sources. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site tour will be held. Bidder qualifications include previous experience, as described in the contract documents. The proposed treatment plant will utilize membrane filtration technology to treat spring water collected from the City’s multiple spring sources in Manti Canyon. The treatment plant will have an initial treatment capacity of approximately 1,000 gallons per minute (gpm) per skid with the potential to expand capacity to 1,200 gpm per skid and install a 3 rd skid at a later date. The plant will be located adjacent to the existing culinary water storage tank in the southeast quadrant of the city.
