Site work and new construction of a communication facility in Tampa, Florida. Conceptual plans call civil work for a communications tower.
The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority invites interested Design-Build firms to submit qualifications to provide professional design and construction services for the design and construction of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Replacement at Tampa International Airport. The project will utilize the progressive Design-Build methodology. The new ATCT will be located at Site 18A, within an approximately 2-acre parcel in the northwest quadrant of the Main Terminal complex. The scope includes the replacement of the existing ATCT facility originally constructed in the early 1970s, which is currently operated, owned, and maintained by the Federal Aviation Administration.
