This Request for Qualifications (the RFQ) is issued by His Majesty the King in right of the Province of British Columbia as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Transit (the Province). The purpose of this RFQ is to invite interested parties to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications for, one component of the Fraser River Tunnel Project referred to as GC-2 North Cut & Cover, North Ramp (the Project or GC-2). The Project is comprised of the construction of a reinforced concrete cut & cover tunnel connecting to the north end of the ITT being delivered under GC-1 and requires interface coordination of construction of the ITT bulkhead with the GC delivering GC-1, and with the GC completing upgrades to the adjacent section of Highway 99 (GC-5).
