This Request for Qualifications (the "RFQ") is issued by His Majesty the King in right of the Province of British Columbia as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Transit (the "Province"). The purpose of this RFQ is to invite interested parties to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications for, one component of the Fraser River Tunnel Project referred to as GC-1 - Immersed Tube Tunnel, South Cut & Cover, South Ramp (the "Project" or "GC-1"). The Project is comprised of the fabrication, construction and immersion of an approximately 828 metre ITT, construction of a cut & cover tunnel with ramp structures at the south end of the ITT on Deas Island, and requires interface coordination with the GC-2, GC-3, GC-4 and GC-5 contractors.
