Site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade medical facility; for the addition of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

The Project involves the design, renovation, replacement, and installation of MRI suites and supporting spaces within an active, 24/7 operating tertiary cancer care facility. Continuous MRI clinical operations must be maintained throughout the project lifecycle, subject to defined and strictly controlled downtime windows. The project is owner-funded through a multi-year capital plan supporting the replacement and renovation of existing spaces. The objectives of this Project are to: - Replace end of life of two (2) MRI systems with new advanced MRI equipment (helium-less technology) - Add one net new 1.5T MRI suite to expand capacity - Modernize clinical, technical, and support spaces to meet current codes, standards, and clinical workflows - Establish a partnership with a qualified Design-Builder experienced in medical imaging and MRI environments to support the advancement of patient care and technology. - Execute all work in a manner that minimizes disruption to ongoing clinical operations - Deliver a coordinated, fully commissioned, code compliant, and operational MRI environment suitable for immediate clinical use Documents are available at https://biddingo.com/ Site Walkthrough: Attendance Requirements-->A maximum of two (2) representatives per Proponent will be permitted to attend. • Attendance is mandatory. Proponents who fail to attend the site visit, arrive late, or do not sign the attendance register will be deemed non-complaint and will not be eligible to submit a Proposal. • Proponents must arrive at the designated meeting location no later than five (5) minutes prior to the scheduled start time. • Entry will not be permitted for Proponents, arriving after the scheduled start time. Registration and Safety Compliance: • The Hospital’s designated representative will maintain an attendance log and administer required MRI safety screening forms. • All attendees must complete and sign the MRI safety screening form prior to entering any controlled MRI areas. • Personal belongings must be secured in the designated area as directed by Hospital Staff. Site Access Restrictions: • Independent or unscheduled site visit are strictly prohibited during the RFP period. • The Hospital reserves the right to disqualify any Proponents who conducts or attempts to conduct unauthorized access to the site. Post-Visit Clarifications: • It is the sole responsibility of each Proponent to submit any questions or requests for clarification through the bid administrator, in accordance with the RFP communication protocol.
