Pool resurfacing at TY Park. This fixed contract is for the pool resurfacing of Topeekeegee Yugnee (T.Y.) Park's Castaway Island Water Park, located at 3300 N Park Rd, Hollywood, FL 33021 for the Parks and Recreation Division in accordance with the Specifications and Requirements. The Lagoon pool is approximately 22,700 square feet Question Deadline 07/09/2026 at 5:00 PM ET The estimated amount for this project is $294,038,00 project start date to be approximately the end of October 2026. Substantial completion shall be within (90) calendar days of NTP issuance. Final completion shall be within seven (7) calendar days from the substantial completion date. RESURFACING 1. Diamond-Brite, or approved equal pool finish, shall be applied to all areas at a uniform thickness of 3/8" - 1/2" thick, following all manufacturer's application instructions. Aggregate must be mixed with a mixer and manufacturer's instructions followed. Hand mixing will not be permitted. 2. Finish must be applied using a plaster pump and finished to a smooth surface. All manufacturers' application instructions must be followed. 3. Application of exposed aggregate surfaces to each body of water must be completed in one day. Surface areas will not be permitted to be tile broken and completed in smaller sections. 4. Aggregate must be mixed and applied as per manufacturer's instructions. All manufacturer's application instructions must be followed. 5. Contractor must utilize the recommended number of finishers as required by the manufacturer. 6. Expose the aggregate surface following manufacturer's recommendation. 7. According to the manufacturer's specifications, acid wash the entire exposed surface by hand to ensure a uniform finish. Replace any drain covers, grates, diffusers, hardware, etc., that were removed.
