The Springfield Housing Authority is seeking qualified contractors for a 12-month blanket contract to provide flooring removal and installation services across public housing residential units in Springfield, Illinois. The work includes removal of existing floor tile and base materials, subfloor repair or replacement as needed, surface preparation, and installation of new vinyl composition tile (VCT) and cove base in vacant units ranging from approximately 600 to 1,400 square feet. The Authority will supply tile and adhesives, while the contractor is responsible for labor, preparation materials, and site cleanup. Work must be completed within 14 days per unit and in compliance with applicable codes, OSHA standards, and prevailing wage requirements.
