In general, the improvements consist of various sized asphalt patches, concrete work on Austin Boulevard, crack sealing, micro-surfacing application, petroleum maltene-based rejuvenator application, and thermoplastic pavement marking removal & application, and all appurtenant work thereto. The work will take place in various locations throughout the Village of Oak Park. No work or mobilization shall occur on or during the same week at the following locations to accommodate scheduled block parties: Highland Avenue between Harvard Street and Fillmore Avenue on October 31, 2026 Cuyler Avenue between Division Street and Thomas Street on August 29, 2026 Euclid Avenue between Jackson Boulevard and Van Buren Street on September 19, 2026 Elmwood Avenue between Pleasant Street and Randolph Street on August 22, 2026. Clarence Avenue between Jackson Boulevard and Van Buren Street on August 1 and October 17, 2026 Clarence Avenue between Van Buren Street and Harrison Street on July 25, 2026 S East Avenue between Fillmore Street and Roosevelt Road on October 17, 2026 No work shall occur on Augusta Street from Austin Boulevard to Lombard Avenue on October 18, 2026, to avoid interfering with the annual Frank Lloyd Wright Race. The Village of Oak Park reserves the right to issue plans and specifications only to those contractors deemed qualified. No bid documents will be issued after 4:00 p.m. on the working day preceding the date of bid opening.
