21,435 LF Joint and Crack Cleaning and Sealing, 29,741 SY Double Application Textured Bituminous Surface Treatment, 64,517 SY Single Application Textured Bituminous Surface Treatment, 35,662 SY Asphalt Rejuvenator Surface Treatment, & Associated Thermoplastic Pavement Marking within the City of Broussard. 1. BID BOND: A "Bid Guarantee" equivalent to 5% of the bid price consisting of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument, shall accompany each bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required and within the time specified. 2. PERFORMANCE BOND: A performance bond of not less than 100% of the contract price shall be executed to assure the Contractor's faithful performance of the contract. 3. PAYMENT BOND: A payment bond of not less than 100% of the contract price shall be executed to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the performance of the work provided by the contract. Construction Time: 90 calendar days, exclusive of delays beyond the Contractor's control from the date stipulated in the written Notice to Proceed. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least forty five (45) days after the time scheduled for the opening of bids. Each bid shall be submitted only on the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with La. R.S. 38:2214. Document Notes: One-half of the deposits will be refunded to Bona Fide Prime bidders upon return of additional sets of documents if returned in good condition within 10 DAYS after receipt of bids.
