Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Saratoga Springs, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and road / highway.

Replacement of overhead primary electrical service to an underground 13.2 kV system including removal of existing poles/wires, installation of buried duct bank, transformers, switchgears, service connections, horizontal directional drilling, asphalt/concrete/topsoil restoration, streetlight installation, and traffic control. Engineer's Estimate Range:$4,110,830.00 - $5,561,711.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project involves the replacement of the overhead primary electric service with an underground system within the southern portion of Saratoga Spa State Park. The existing overhead wire, poles, and pole mounted transformers are to be removed. Installation of duct bank, electric service cables, manholes, pullboxes, switchgears, and transformers to be completed. Work also includes horizontal directional drilling under Geyser Creek. This project includes, but is not limited to the following: Replacement of the overhead primary electrical service to an underground 13.2 kV system within the southern portion of the Saratoga Spa State Park along with installing service connections to all existing facilities. The limits of the work are East-West Road from Route 50 to Route 9 and Geyser Loop Road from East-West Road to the Orenda Pavilion. Contract work to include: 1. Removal of existing overhead wires, poles, and pole mounted equipment, 2. Installation of a buried duct bank consisting of conduit and electric service cables, 3. Installation of pullboxes, manholes, ground mounted transformers, switchgears, and other electrical equipment along with related connections to existing facilities, 4. Coordination with National Grid as required for the installation of a new primary meter pole and riser pole, 5. The conversion of the existing dual ratio single phase pad-mounted transformers on North-South Rd, and the existing dual ratio Peerless Pool three phase pad-mounted transformer from 4.160 kV to 13.2 kV, 6. Restoration of trenches to match existing surfaces asphalt / concrete / topsoil / seed), 7. Horizontal directional drilling of duct bank underneath Geyser Creek, 8. Installation of two streetlight poles, 9. Removal of one tree, 10. Installation of temporary erosion control measures, 11. Work zone traffic control including signing and flaggers as necessary. At least one travel lane is to remain open during work hours on all roads.
