The City of Perrysburg is accepting bids for its annual supply of bulk de-icing salt to be used by the Department of Public Service Division of Streets in the Snow and Ice Control Program. This is a bulk de-icing salt procurement for approximately 2,500 tons annually. Requires sodium chloride meeting ASTM D-632 specifications with anti-caking treatment, bulk truck delivery, and storage capabilities until requested by the City of Perrysburg. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Certified Check on a solvent bank, money order, irrevocable letter of credit, cashier's check or surety bond payable to the City of Perrysburg, Ohio, in an amount of $1,000. The City reserves the right reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received. The contract shall be awarded for the period of one year.
