Replacement of one fire hydrant at State Farm Correctional Center. All bidders who plan to attend the conference shall email Chad Etienne (Chad.Etienne@vadoc.virginia.gov) a list of attendees no later than Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 12:00 PM. SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS (SPECIFICATIONS) The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a qualified vendor for the demolition of (1) existing fire hydrant and installation of (1) new replacement fire hydrant in front of the sally port of State Farm Correctional Center, 3500 Woods Way, State Farm, VA 23160. The Vendor shall provide the following: A. (1) Kennedy Valve hydrant that is both new and the same as or equivalent to the existing model. B. (1) Backflow preventer. C. All labor and materials to remove the existing hydrant and backflow preventer and install a new hydrant and backflow preventer. D. Testing to ensure proper operation. E. Removal of all project-related debris. F. Warranty documentation.
