This is a Lakewalk Reconstruction Project involving 2.2 miles of bituminous shared-use trail reconstruction along Lake Superior, including modular block retaining walls, cast-in-place structures, shoreline stabilization, lighting, and landscaping. Project includes reconstruction of 2.2 miles of bituminous shared-use trail, modular block retaining walls, cast-in-place structures, shoreline stabilization, and improvements to various community connectors to the Lakewalk, lighting, landscaping, and amenities. May require performance and payment bonds, prevailing wage compliance, and workforce certification requirements. All interested bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid meeting and a site visit will follow the meeting.
