The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of new vertical landfill gas extraction wells and associated piping and appurtenances, with an option for horizontal collectors in the place of or in addition to vertical extraction wells, at the Kiefer Landfill. Construction activities are to be conducted over a period of two years with one mobilization per quarter, based on requests made by the County prior to each mobilization. The scope of work will vary each quarter depending on County needs. Work must be performed in strict conformance with specifications, applicable regulations, and permits. The quantities provided are approximations, and actual quantities may vary at the discretion of the County. The project includes rapid development of new wells and decommissioning or replacement of underperforming wells, with an average of 8 wells installed and 10 wells decommissioned per quarter. Installation on a quarterly basis is required to adhere to regulatory requirements.
