The purpose of this project is to repair the damaged breakwater in Port Maitland, On. The project site described is located in the Port Maitland Harbour (4251'14.8"N 7934'40.5"W) in Port Maitland, Ontario, on the North shore of Lake Erie. The Work includes, but is not limited to: Salvage and regrading of existing displaced core and armour stone Supply, delivery, and placement of new armour stone to restore the breakwater profile Placement of materials to specified lines, grades, and dimensions Provision of all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work It is anticipated the contractor can perform and complete the work in approximately 3-4 weeks beginning no earlier than September 7th 2026. All work must be completed by December 31st, 2026. This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded.
