Demolition for an industrial development in North Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of an industrial development.
This project aims to demolish the existing North Bay Scale Building and remove the scale and associated concrete roof at 916 McIntyre Street within the railyard, as they are in poor condition and currently not in use. The building has a basement extending under the track, which shall be backfilled and then compacted and tested. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Question Deadline 07/02/2026 at 2:00 PM ETRFP and may direct questions or seek additional information in writing by email to the RFP Contact on or before the Deadline for Questions The Contractor shall perform the Work required by the Contract Documents for the demolition and removal of the existing structure at the location specified in the Scope of Work and any remediation or reclamation required in connection with the demolition and removal to return the land to a clean and buildable state unless otherwise stated in the Scope of Work, including the excavation and disposal of materials located on or under the land and removal of hazardous materials located at or within the structure (the Project).
