Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work includes construction of one 40-foot span bridge, construction of one 60-foot span bridge, and 150 square yards of bituminous trail construction. Each bid submitted must be accompanied by a bid bond naming the City of Eden Prairie as obligee, Surety2000 or certified check payable to the City Clerk of the City of Eden Prairie or a cash deposit in an amount equal to five percent of the total amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. The City Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed sixty days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids will be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the date and time set for the opening bids.
