Widening of O'Hara Avenue including roadway excavation, pavement removal and base material replacement, concrete curb and gutter construction, sidewalk, rubberized hot mix asphalt (RHMA) and HMA paving, driveway construction, drainage modifications, utility adjustments, and water and sewer connections. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Contractor questions must be received by June 29th, 2026 at 5:00pm. Questions should be directed to Habibullah Habib, Senior Civil Engineer, hhabib@ci.oakley.ca.us The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: Mobilization and demobilization; traffic control and construction signage; removal and replacement of traffic striping, marking, and markers; clearing and grubbing, tree removal and relocation, roadway excavation including removal of pavement and base material, removal of subbases, native material fill, construction of new concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk; rubberized hot mix asphalt (RHMA), hot-mix asphalt (HMA) pavement and base; driveways; drainage modifications, utility adjustments, water and sewer connections; signing and striping and other work as shown on the Contract Plans, as specified in the Contract Documents, and as directed by the City Engineer.
