Question Deadline 07/23/2026 Bidders shall make all requests for interpretations in writing and submit all requests to the Project Designer and Project Manager identified in Section 007300 - Supplementary Conditions with all necessary supporting documentation no less than five (5) working days before opening of bids. The Work consists of a New Outdoor Pavilion for the St. James Veterans Home, including sidewalk additions tying into existing sidewalks and connecting to existing parking areas. 1. The Work includes a new pavilion structure consisting of steel columns, wood roof trusses, and wood wall framing with asphalt shingle roof, brick veneer and concrete foundations. The project also includes minor site work, drainage, paving, utility connections, and exterior pavilion lighting. The project includes the demolition of the existing outdoor pavilion facility and construction of a new, single-story steel column and wood framed covered pavilion with outdoor kitchenette, single unisex restroom, utility room, new sidewalks, and miscellaneous site work as indicated on contract documents. The new pavilion structure will consist of steel columns, wood roof trusses, and wood wall framing with asphalt shingle roof, brick veneer and concrete foundations. The project also includes minor site work, drainage, paving, utility connections, and exterior pavilion lighting. MBE/WBE/SDVE participation goals are MBE 10%, WBE 10%, and SDVE 3%. Only electronic bids sent to the designated email shall be accepted. Bidders must secure at least one bid set to become a planholder. Electronic bid sets are available at no cost, and paper bid sets require a deposit. Plans and specifications in unmarked condition must be returned within 15 working days of bid opening to receive a deposit refund. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in bids. No bid may be withdrawn for 20 working days after the bid opening. The contractor must pay not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.
